UL freshman guard Kia Wilridge
Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun women’s basketball team returns to play on Wednesday evening, when they play host to the Southern-New Orleans Lady Knights, in non-conference action at Earl K. Long Gym.
Louisiana, who is 2-3 on the year, is trying to snap a three-game losing skid, after falling to Middle Tennessee, 72-45 in their Sun Belt Conference opener, last Saturday, while Southern-New Orleans, an NAIA school, will come in with an overall record of 3-1.
The Cajuns are led by freshman guard Sylvana Okde, who is averaging 12.2 points-per-game, while senior guard April Perry paces the Lady Knights, at 18.0 points-per-game.
Tip-off time is scheduled for 7 o’clock.
