Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday evening, when coach Garry Brodhead's squad plays host to the FIU Panthers, in Sun Belt Conference action at Earl K. Long Gym.

Louisiana lost to Middle Tennessee, 72-36, last Saturday, dropping them to 7-12 overall, and 1-9 in Sun Belt Conference play, while FIU currently stnads at 11-7 overall, and 5-4 in league play, after defeating Troy last Saturday, 82-76.

The Cajuns are led by freshman guard Sylvana Okde, who is averaging 11.3 points-per-game, while the Panthers are paced by junior guard Jerica Coley, who is currently leading the conference in scoring, averaging 23.8 points a contest.

FIU leads the all-time series, 17-6, including a 63-47 win over Louisiana back on January 5 in Miami, Florida.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7 pm.
