Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team dropped their regular season finale on Saturday, falling to the ULM Warhawks, 64-50, in Sun Belt Conference action in Monroe, La.

ULM led at the half, 27-21, and then outscored Louisiana in the second half, 37-29, to go on to the 14-point win.

The Warhawks out-shot the Cajuns from the field, 47%-21%, and also finished with a 44-37 rebound advantage.

Ashleigh Simmons led the way for ULM, finishing with a game-high 27 points, while Keke Veal paced Louisiana in a losing cause with 21 points.

With the victory, the Warhawks improved to 9-20 overall, and 7-13 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Cajuns fell to 9-20 overall, and 3-17 in league play.

Louisiana will play North Texas, at 2:30 pm on Friday, in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
