Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team concluded a four-game road trip on Tuesday night, defeating the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions, 69-57, in non-conference action.

The Cajuns scored the first 12 points of the game, and led 28-25, at the half.

The Lady Lions were actually able to grad their first lead early in the second half,  and later led 47-46, at the 7:49 mark of the game.

UL however, outscored Southeastern Louisiana, 23-10, the rest of the way, to take home the 12-point win.

The Lady Lions out-rebounded the Cajuns, 36-33, but UL out-shot Southeastern Louisiana from the field, 50%-33%.

UL also forced 22 turnovers.

Louisiana, who was playing without leading scorer Mercedes Johnson, was led by Krystal Motley, who had a career-high 27 points, while Kemi Rotibi chipped in with 16.

Aja Gibson paced Southeastern Louisiana in a losing cause, with 17.

With the victory, the Cajuns improve to 2-4, while the Lady Lions fall to 3-3.
