Due to weather concerns, this Saturday's football game at Cajun Field between UL and Appalachian State will kickoff at 1:00 pm, 3 hours earlier than originally scheduled.

Saturday's game is special for a number of reasons.

One, it's the final home game of the season which means it's senior day. The Cajuns will honor 21 seniors during pregame.

Two, it's military appreciation day. Members of the military will join the team as they run out onto the field, and special ceremony will be held to honor the late Captain Steven L. Bennett, a UL alum and Vietnam veteran. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor 40 years ago.

Third, at halftime, the University will retire the jersey #5 of the great Charles "Peanut" Tillman who played defensive back for Louisiana from 1999-2002.

$10 general admission tickets (half priced) are still on sale, and can be purchased by calling the Cajundome Box Office at (337) 265-2100 or on-line at RaginCajuns.com.

The game can be heard on ESPN1420, espn1420.com, HOT 107.9, and the smart phone app Radio Pup. Pregame on ESPN1420 begins at 11:00 am.
