UL Softball Wins Two Games In Ragin’ Cajuns Invitational – Recap
The 12th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team ran their season-opening win streak to 15 games, after winning two games on Saturday in the Ragin' Cajun Invitational Softball Tournament at Lamson Park.
In the opener, Louisiana defeated Kentucky, 5-4, in dramatic, come-from-behind fashion.
Kentucky led UL, 4-1, going into the seventh inning, but the Cajuns scored four runs in the inning, including a two-out, three-run homer from shortstop Nerissa Myers to lift them to the exciting win.
Shelbee Rogers (1-0) got the win in the game, while Rachel Riley(2-2) suffered the loss for Kentucky.

In their second game of the day, the Cajuns cruised past the Nicholls St. Colonels, 15-4, in five innings.
Jordan Wallace (6-0) kept her record perfect for UL, while Ashton Bennett suffered the loss for Nicholls St.

With the two wins, Louisiana is now 15-0 on the year.
The Cajuns will play twice in the tournament on Sunday. They'll take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 12:30 pm, before closing out with Stephen F. Austin at 3 o'clock.
