The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns have climbed a couple spots in the latest college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana, who is currently 32-6 on the season, including a 14-1 Sun Belt Conference record, ranks number 29 this week, which is a two-spot jump from last week.

The Cajuns, who defeated Southeastern Louisiana in a non-conference tilt last Tuesday, before winning 2-of-3 from Texas St. in a Sun Belt Conference series over the weekend, faces Texas A&M in a non-conference tilt on Wednesday night, before hosting the Georgia St. Panthers this weekend, in a three-game conference set at Lamson Park.

Florida is the top team in the RPI rankings, followed by Auburn, Arizona, Washington, and Texas A&M in the top 5.

6-10 consists of UCLA, Oregon, Florida St., Tennessee, and Baylor.

Minnesota, LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, Utah are at 11-15, while Kentucky, California, BBYU, Illinois, and James Madison round out the top 20.

Arizona St., South Carolina, Michigan, Arkansas, and Texas St. are in the 21-25 spots, respectively.

Texas St., at #25 is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Louisiana (#29), Georgia St. (#53), South Alabama (#69), Coastal Carolina (#81), Georgia Southern (#82), ULM (#87), UTA (#90), Troy (#108), and Appalachian St. (#206).
