UL Softball Travels To Take On McNeese St.

The 8th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team returns to action after a nine-day layoff on Wednesday, when they travel to Lake Charles, La., to take on the McNeese St. Cowgirls, in non-conference action.

Louisiana, who defeated McNeese St., 6-0, back on March 13 in Lafayette, have won four straight against the Cowgirls, and lead in the all-time series, 94-24.

UL is 30-1 on the year, while McNeese St. stands at 21-10.

This will mark the final non-conference game of then year for the Cajuns, who host South Alabama, in a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader on Friday.

First-pitch is set for 6 o'clock.
