The 17th-ranked UL softball team ran their current win streak to ten games on Tuesday evening, sweeping a non-conference doubleheader from the Nicholls St. Colonels, at Lamson Park. The Cajuns won the opener, 8-0, before completing the sweep with an 11-2, six-ining victory, in game two. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 17th ranked Ragin' Cajuns pounded five home runs in two games as they swept Nicholls State at Lamson Park on Tuesday night, both in six-innings to move their current winning streak to ten games. 

 

The Cajuns took game one, 8-0, to pick up the 600th win in Lamson Park's history, compared to just 93 losses.  With the two wins the Cajuns move to 22-1 at their home park in 2011.

In game two, the Cajuns blasted four of their home runs as they scored over 10 runs for the 12th time in the 2011 in an 11-2 win.
