Ashley Brignac (18-2) picked-up the win in the cirlce for the Cajuns, while Emily Rousseau (13-12) suffered the loss for the Lady Toppers.

In the nightcap, Louisiana got a two-run homer in the top half of the seventh-inning from second baseman Paige Cormier, and hung on for the win.

Jordan Wallace (22-0) kept her record spotless with the win, while Mallorie Sulaski (2-4) suffered the loss.

The UL sweep, coupled with the split of the doubleheader between South Alabama and FIU on Saturday means that the Cajuns clinch the outright league title, as well as the top seed in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, May 9-12, in Boca Raton, Florida.
