The UL softball team swept a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader from the ULM Warhawks, on Saturday, winning by scores of 3-0, and 12-3. The wins secured a regular season conference championship for the Cajuns. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 24th ranked Ragin' Cajuns used a no-hitter from Ashley Brignac in game one to clinch their 10th Sun Belt Regular Season Championship in 11 years.  The Cajuns won that game by a final score of 3-0 and went on to win game two 12-3.

On the day, not only did the Cajuns continue their dominance of the league, Christi Orgeron made history by breaking the league's single-season RBI record by driving in five runs in game two to bring her season total to 84, the best in the NCAA.  Orgeron also scored three runs on the day to bring her total in that category to 68, also the best the nation.

The Cajuns (44-9, 18-5) moved their record when scoring first to 38-3 on the season.  The Warhawks (27-25, 10-13) fell to 15-7 at home.
