Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team remains at number nine in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping a Sun Belt Conference series from the ULM Warhawks at Lamson Park.

The Cajuns are currently 40-7, overall, and 21-2 in conference play.

The Florida Gators, who are 52-4 on the season, are number one in the poll, receiving 31 of a possible 32 first place votes.

Michigan is ranked second this week, followed by Oregon at number three, Alabama in the four spot, and Oklahoma fifth.

Florida St. is ranked sixth, followed James Madison, Auburn, Louisiana, and Tennessee at 7-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Kentucky, LSU, Washington, UCLA, and Georgia in spots 11-15, with Texas A&M, Missouri, Arizona, Fresno St., and Notre Dame in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Baylor, FAU, Minnesota, USF, and UCF.
