Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team remains at number five in the latest USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana won all three of their last week, sweeping a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from the Troy Trojans in Troy, Alabama, before splitting a non-conference doubleheader with Baylor on Tuesday.

The Cajuns are currently 26-3, overall, and 7-1 in conference play.

This weekend , Louisiana plays host to the Texas St. Bobcats in a three-game league series, with a doubleheader on Saturday (2 pm), followed by a single game on Sunday (1 pm).

The Florida Gators, who are 33-1 on the season, remain the top team in the poll.

Louisiana will travel to Gainesville, Florida to take on the Gators in a three-game series, April 16-17.

Michigan is ranked second this week, followed by Auburn at number three, Oregon in the four spot, and Louisiana fifth.

Florida was a unanimous top pick, receiving all 32 first-place votes.

Alabama is ranked sixth, followed James Madison, LSU, Florida St. and Georgia at 7-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Washington, Florida St., Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Missouri in spots 11-15, with UCLA, Tennessee, Arizona, Baylor, and Arizona St. in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Minnesota, Notre Dame, Florida Atlantic, USF, and Fresno St.
