UL Softball Squares Off With South Alabama In Sun Belt Conference Tourney

The sixth-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team will be looking for another Sun Belt Conference Championship title on Saturday, when they face-off with the South Alabama Jaguars.

The Cajuns have won 11 of the 12 tourney titles, and the regular season champions have won the tourney title every year since the tournament began back in 2000.

The two teams are the lone remaining teams in the tournament, being held in Boca Raton, Florida, and the game is a winner-take-all championship game, which is set for Saturday at 3:05 pm (cdt).

South Alabama is 38-15 on the year, while UL stands at 49-3.

The Cajuns swept a three-game series from the Jaguars April 6-7 at Lamson Park,winning by scores of 1-0, 20-0, and 3-0.

First-pitch is scheduled for 3:05 (cdt).
