Game day has arrived for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team, as they take on the Kentucky Wildcats in the opening day of the 2014 Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Louisiana, the #6-overall national seed, is making their sixth WCWS appearance in program history, and their first since 2008.

The Cajuns, who have won 41 of their last 44 games, will head into the WCWS with an overall record of 49-8-1.

Louisiana will face Kentucky on Thursday night at 6 o'clock in their first game. If they win, they would meet the winner of the Oklahoma/Alabama game on Friday night at 8:30 pm, while the two losers would meet in an elimination game on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm.

All games involving the Cajuns in the WCWS can be heard on Sports Radio ESPN 1420 & espn1420.com, beginning with the pre-game show, 20 minutes prior to first-pitch.
