Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team remains at number ten in this week’s college softball RPI (Ratings Performance Index) rankings, which were released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana swept a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from the ULM Warhawks last weekend, to conclude their regular season schedule with an overall record of 37-8, while clinching a regular season league title, their 13th in the last 15 years.

This is the final set of rankings before the NCAA Regional pairing are announced on Sunday night.

Two SEC schools, Florida and LSU, are ranked 1-2 this week, while Oregon jumped up one spot to number three, with Auburn and Michigan rounding out the top five.

Alabama is number six, followed by UCLA, Florida St., Missouri, and Louisiana at 7-10, respectively.

Tennessee begins the second ten, at number 11, with James Madison, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Minnesota in spots 12-15.

At 16-20, it’s Arizona, UCF, California, Notre Dame, and Baylor.

Texas A&M, Hofstra, Kentucky, Kansas, and Arizona St. round out the top 25 of this week’s RPI rankings.

The respective RPI’s for the eight Sun Belt Conference schools has Louisiana (10th overall) first, with South Alabama (29th overall) second, followed  by Georgia St. (43rd overall), Troy (60th overall), Texas St. (63rd overall), ULM (74th overall), UT-Arlington (137th overall), Georgia Southern (148th overall), and Appalachian St. (191st overall).
