Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team is up four spots, to number seven, in the latest USA Today/NFCA Top 25 coaches poll, which was released on Monday.

Louisiana won their first five games on the their 2016 regular season schedule last weekend, going 5-0 in the Sand Dollar Classic in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The Cajuns captured wins over Ball St. (22-4), UAB (15-0), Southeast Missouri St. (8-0), Samford (1-0), and Louisiana Tech (8-2).

The Florida Gators, who are a perfect 4-0 on the season, remain the top team in the poll.

Louisiana will travel to Gainesville, Florida to take on the Gators in a three-game series, April 16-17.

Michigan is ranked second this week, followed by Auburn at number three, LSU in the four spot, and Alabama fifth.

Florida was a near unanimous number one selections, receiving 31 of a possible 32 votes place votes, with Auburn receiving the only other top vote.The

The Oregon Ducks, who are 5-1 on the young season, are ranked sixth, followed by the Cajuns at number seven.

Those two teams will meet three times this weekend in the Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park, including twice on Friday and once on Saturday.

UCLA, Arizona, and Georgia round out the top ten, at 8-10, respectively.

The second tem this week consists of Washington, Tennessee, Florida St., Oklahoma, and UCF in spots 11-15, with Missouri, Arizona St., Kentucky, James Madison, and Minnesota in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it's Baylor, California, South Alabama, Fresno St., and Texas A&M.
