Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is up one spot, to number 17, in this week’s NFCA Top 25 poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana, who has won  22 of their last 24 games, is now 22-6-1, overall, on the season, including an 11-1 record in Sun Belt Conference play.

The Cajuns will play four times this week, taking on McNeese St. in a non-conference game on Wednesday, before traveling to Troy, Alabama to take on the Troy Trojans this weekend in conference action.

Oregon stays in the top spot this week, followed by UCLA, Michigan, Tennessee, and Florida in the 2-5 spots.

The rest of the top ten includes Arizona, Alabama, Kentucky, Florida St., and Arizona in spots 6-10.

At 11-15, it’s Washington, Minnesota, Missouri, Baylor, and Georgia, followed by Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tulsa, South Alabama, and Nebraska in the 16-20 spots.

Finally, at 21-25, it’s Texas A&M, Notre Dame, USC Upstate, and Northwestern.
