The 13th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns returns to the diamond this weekend, when they play host to a field of four teams in the 33rd Annual Louisiana Classics at Lamson Park.

Louisiana, who will enter the event with a perfect record of 6-0, will play five games in the event, taking on Jackson St. at 4 o'clock on Friday, before meeting Austin Peay at 6:30 pm.

On Saturday, UL will battle Stephen F. Austin at 12:30 pm, before the semifinals begin.


Play begins on Friday at 11 am, with Stephen F. Austin taking on Austin Peay, followed by Stephen F. Austin/Jackson St. at 1:30 pm, Louisiana/Jackson St. at 4 pm, and Louisiana/Austin Peay at 6:30 pm.

Play begins on Saturday at 10 am, with Austin Peay meeting Jackson St., followed by Louisiana/Stephen F. Austin at 12:30 pm.

From there, the tournament turns into a single game event, with the top-seed facing the #3-seed at 3 o'clock, followed by the #2-seed taking on the #4-seed at 5:30 pm.

On Sunday, the losers of the last two games on Saturday will play in the consolation game at 10 am, prior to the two winners of the final two games on Saturday meeting in the championship game at 12:30 pm.
