The 24th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team will have to wait an extra day to get back on the field, after their match-up against the McNeese St. Cowgirls, scheduled for Wednesday night, was postponed due to weather and a wet field.

Louisiana, who is 14-5-1 on the year, after going 5-0 in the Gulf Coast College Classic in Gulfport, Mississippi over the weekend, will return to the diamond on Thursday night, hosting the Lamar Cardinals in a non-conference single game at Lamson Park beginning at 6 o'clock.

A make-up date for the UL/McNeese St. game will be announced later in the week.
