UL Softball Falls To North Texas, 8-5

The North Texas Mean Green were able to salvage the final game of a three game series from the 17^th ranked Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns with an 8-5 win on Sunday at Lovelace Stadium.

Shelbee Rodgers (6-1) suffered her first loss of the season, giving up six runs one seven hits in 3.1 innings pitched.  Allie Chenault came on in relief, giving up two runs on three hits in 2.2 innings pitched.

North Texas outhit the Cajuns 10-5 on the day, with five different Cajuns (20-3, 2-1) recording one hit apiece.
