UL Softball Falls To Houston, 7-2

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team dropped their opener in the Austin, Texas Regional, falling 7-2, to the Houston Cougars, on Friday afternoon. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 25^th ranked Ragin' Cajuns surrendered one big inning as they fell to Houston by a score of 7-2 to open the NCAA Austin Regional on Friday.  The Cougars plated five runs in the third inning as they dropped the Cajuns into the loser's bracket.

Ashley Brignac (30-6) went the distance in the circle for the Cajuns, giving up ten hits, but just three outside of the third inning while the Cougars plated six earned runs.
