The 19th-ranked UL softball team fell in their only game on Friday night, in the Judi Garman Classic, suffering a 10-4 setback to the 6th-ranked Arizona st. Sun Devils. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 19th ranked Ragin' Cajuns rallied late, but fell to the sixth ranked Arizona State Sun Devils in their only contest of the day by a score of 10-4.  With the loss, the Cajuns fell to 1-2 thus far at the 2011 Judi Garman Classic, with both losses coming to ranked Pacific-10 Conference teams.

Three of the Cajuns (22-5) five losses have come to ranked Pac-10 teams.

Ashley Brignac (10-2) got the start for the Cajuns and was shouldered with the loss, but only pitched one inning, giving up three runs on three hits.  Allie Chenault threw the remainder of the game and kept the Cajuns in it, giving up seven runs, four earned, on eight hits.
