UL Softball Completes Sweep Of Troy

The 19th-ranked UL softball team completed a conference, weekend series sweep of Troy, on Sunday, defeating the Trojans, 9-1, at Lamson Park. Ragincajuns.com has the story, below.

The 19^th ranked Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns cruised to a 9-1 win over Troy on Sunday at Lamson Park.  The six-inning win clinches a series sweep for the Cajuns (26-5, 5-1) as they start their longest layoff of the season.

With the win, the Cajuns move to 13-0 at Lamson Park in 2011.

Shelbee Rodgers (7-2) picked up the win, throwing five innings, giving up just one run on five hits with three strikeouts.  Ashley Brignac threw one scoreless inning for the Cajuns in the Sun Belt win.
