Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is down two spots, to number 10, in this week’s ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Louisiana, who won two-of-three games from the Texas St. Bobcats last weekend in a Sun Belt Conference series, is currently 27-5 on the season.

The Cajuns return to action this weekend, when they play host to the Georgia St. Panthers in a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series.

The Oregon Ducks, who are 30-4 on the year, are the new top-ranked team this week, replacing the LSU Tigers, who dropped to number two, followed by the Florida Gators in the three-spot, the Michigan Wolverines at number four, and the Oklahoma Sooners at number five.

At 6-10, it’s Alabama, Auburn, UCLA, Georgia, and Louisiana.

Florida St., Minnesota, Baylor, Kentucky, and Tennessee are ranked 11-15 this week, with California, Arizona, UCF, Washington, and Arizona St. coming in at 16-20, respectively.

Finally, at 21-23, it’s Missouri, Texas A&M, Kansas, South Alabama, and James Madison.

James Madison is the newcomer to the poll this week, while Virginia Tech dropped out from a week ago.
