The Cajuns tacked on an insurance run in the bottom half of the sixth inning, when Shellie Landry singled, driving home pinch runner Meagan Thomas, to make it 3-0.

That was more than enough for sophomore right-hander Jordan Wallace, who secured her 29th win of the year, agianst only seven defeats, as she twirled a one-hit shutout, while walking six, and striking out 11.

Kylie Roos (17-9) suffered the loss for Northwestern St.
