Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is down one spot, to number four, in the second college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) rankings, was released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from the Georgia St. Panthers over the weekend.

The Cajuns are currently 32-3, overall, and 13-1 in conference play.

This week, Louisiana travels to Gainesville, Florida, to take on the Florida Gators in a three-game non-conference series on Saturday and Sunday.

Speaking of Florida, the Gatos, who are 38-3 on the season, top the RPI rankings, followed by Michigan, Washington, Louisiana, and James Madison in the top five.

Oregon is ranked sixth, followed by Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida St. at 6-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Missouri, Baylor, Kentucky, LSU, and UCLA in spots 11-15, with Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, Minnesota, and Arizona in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Fresno St., South Florida, South Carolina, USF, and Arizona St..

In the Sun Belt Conference, Louisiana ranks first, followed by South Alabama (42), Georgia St. (54), Texas St. (55), Troy (56), UT-Arlington (66), Georgia Southern (120), ULM (162), and Appalachian St. (219).
