UL Softball At #13 In RPI Rankings This Week

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team fell one spot to number 13 in this week's RPI rankings, which were released on Monday night.

Louisiana wrapped-up their regular season schedule with an overall record of 46-3, after winning two-of-three games from the ULM Warhawks last weekend.

UL will be the top-seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Championship, Wednesday-Saturday, in Boca Raton, Florida.

California remains the top team in the RPI rankings this week, followed by Arizona St., Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The second-five consists of Tennessee, Florida, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Arizona.

UCLA, Louisville, Louisiana, Missouri, and Georgia occupy spots 11-15.

The Cajuns will take on the FAU Owls in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship, on Wednesday at 5:30 pm (cdt).
