Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun softball team is down, one spot, to number twelve, in the second college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) rankings, was released by the NCAA on Monday.

Louisiana won all three of their games last week, sweeping Sun Belt Conference series from the ULM Warhawks, in their final three games of the regular season.

The Cajuns are currently 40-7, overall, and 21-2 in conference play.

This week, Louisiana is the top-seed in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament, that will be played in Mobile, Alabama.

Florida tops the RPI rankings again this week. followed by Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma, and James Madison in the top five.

Washington is ranked sixth, followed by Florida St., Auburn, Oregon, and Missouri at 6-10, respectively.

The second ten this week consists of Tennessee, Louisiana, Baylor, UCLA, and LSU in spots 11-15, with Kentucky, Texas A&M, Fresno St., Georgia, and USF in the 16-20 positions.

Finally, at 21-25 this week, it’s Arizona, Minnesota, FAU, South Carolina, and Oregon St.

In the Sun Belt Conference, Louisiana ranks first, followed by South Alabama (43), Texas St. (44), Georgia St. (62), Troy (71), UT-Arlington (81), Georgia Southern (99), ULM (162), and Appalachian St. (238).
