The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns have added a transfer outfielder to their 2019 roster.

Julie Rawls, who spent the previous two seasons at Northwestern St., has elected to transfer to Louisiana.

A native of Hallsville, Texas, Rawls hit a .296 for the Demons in 2017, to go along with 10 home runs and 36 runs batted in.

A left-handed hitter, Rawls also collected 17 outfield assists last season.

A standout player at Hallsville High School, Rawls was named a three-time all-state selection, while being tabbed the Class 5A Player of the Year in Texas by MaxPreps as a senior.

The Cajuns, who finished 41-16 last season, have now added Rawls, to go along with outfielder Keeli Milligan (Texas A&M), outfielder Kendall Talley (Lamar), pitcher Kali Kitsinis (Chiminade), and junior college transfer, Tiana Patrick (Santa Ana College), as transfers who will be competing for the Cajuns next season.
