UL Softball #20 In Latest RPI Rankings

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team is up three spots, to number 20, in this week's college softball RPI rankings, which were released on Monday.

Louisiana, who has won seven-consecutive games, is currently 25-11 overall, and 8-4 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Last week, the Cajuns were at #23, but moved up three spots, after sweeping a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series from the North Texas Mean Green, in Denton, Texas, last weekend.

South Alabama and Western Kentucky, who are ahead of Louisiana in the Sun Belt Conference standings, are at #18, and #35, respectively, in this week's rankings.

LSU, who is 33-8 on the season, sits at #13 in the rankings.

Oklahoma remains the top RPI team, followed by Florida, Texas, Oregon, and Alabama, at 2-5.

California, Washington, Arizona St., Tennessee, and Louisville round out the top ten.
