Louisiana Ragin' Cajun running back Alonzo Harris is getting a lot of national publicity as he enters his senior season, and rightfully so.

A preseason first team All-Sun Belt selection in 2013, as well as a watch list candidate for the Doak Walker Award in 2014, Harris ranks third in school history with 32 rushing touchdowns, third at 70.1 yards rushing per game, and fourth with 2,523 rushing yards

Harris, a senior from Gadsden, Alabama, rushed for 942 a season ago, and has his sights set on a even more impressive senior campaign.

A 6-foot-1, 238-pounder, Harris is part of a talented crop of running back for Louisiana, which also includes the likes of Elijah McGuire, Torrey Pierce, and Effrem Reed.
