Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday night, as coach Bob Marlin's squad plays host to the North Texas Mean Green, in a pivotal Sun Belt Conference match-up.

The game will mark the second game of a UL women's/men's doubleheader at the Cajundome.

The contest also pits two of the top four teams in the Sun Belt Conference Western Division against one another.

North Texas, along with Denver, and UALR, lead the division, with 5-2 records, while UL is only one game in back of those schools, at 4-3.

The Cajuns are currently 10-11 overall, and 4-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Mean Green is 12-8 overall, and 5-2 in league play.

North Texas is led by freshman forward Tony Mitchell, who is averaging 15.5 points, and 9.4 rebounds per game, while sophomore forward J.J. Thomas paces UL, at 11.0 points a contest.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 7:15 pm.
