Both the LSU Tigers and Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns are preparing for their season openers this Saturday night.

But both are also keeping a wary eye on what is happening with Tropical Storm Isaac.

The storm is expected to hit Louisiana early Wednesday morning, and while it will probably be gone on Thursday, making sure the opponents can travel safely, assessing any wind damage to the stadiums, power outages and the like will all have to be considered.

The Cajuns are scheduled to open against Lamar Saturday night at 6pm at Cajun Field.  LSU takes on North Texas.

Ironically, the last time a hurricane disrupted the start of the football season was 2005 when Hurricane Katrina forced the postponement of the season openers.  LSU's scheduled opponent that night?  North Texas, the same school they're scheduled to play this Saturday.
