UL Football Ranked Outside Of Top 100 By Athlon Sports

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were recently ranked outside of the top 100 by a major national publication, heading into the 2018 college football season.

Athlon Sports ranked Louisiana #110 in their 2018 college football countdown.

While ranking #110 among 129 FBS programs may not be anything to be excited about, the publication did pick the Cajuns to finish at 6-6 this season, one game better than they finished a year ago.

Nobody really knows how the season will go, but if Louisiana can improve on their win-loss record and get back to a bowl game, it would be step in the right direction for first-year head coach Billy Napier, as he looks to make the program an annual contender for the conference championship early in his tenure.
