The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are losing an assistant coach from their 2018 staff, while adding a former player to take his place on the staff.

Louisiana cornerbacks coach Zac Etheridge is reportedly heading to Houston, to join the staff of new Cougars head coach Dana Holgorsen.

A captain on Auburn's 2010 national title team, Etheridge started his coaching career at Penn State (2012) and Georgia Tech (2013-14) as a graduate assistant. His first full-time stop was at Western Carolina, where he coach cornerbacks in 2016, before coaching outside linebackers in 2017.

A native of Troy, Alabama, Etheridge became a member of Billy Napier's first UL staff in 2018.

Morgan, who coached safeties at Houston last season, spent time as defensive backs coach at Western Carolina (2014-2015) and ULM (2016-2017) prior to his lone season with the Cougars.
