What does the weather forecast look like for Saturday in Acadiana, as the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns open up their 2017 Sun Belt Conference schedule, playing host to the ULM Warhawks at Cajun Field?

Well, while it’s not what anyone would describe as "football weather", considering that it's still September, and this is still south Louisiana, so it's going to be warm.

Look for he afternoon high to peak at approximately 90 degrees, for the 4 pm kickoff.

Temperatures should be right around 83 degrees at 10 am, when a lot of people are tailgating, before warming up to 88 by the noon hour, and then 90 by 3 o'clock.

The temperature will fall to 83 by 7 pm, when the sun goes down.

Once again, there isn't much cause for concern, in terms of getting wet, as there is only a 20% chance of rain in the forecast.

All in all, it looks like a promising day at Cajun Field!
