It's looking like a could be better/could be worse day, from a weather standpoint, when the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns travel to Boone, North Carolina, to take on the to the Appalachian St. Mountaineers in Sun Belt Conference action on Saturday.

The weather experts are calling for an 70% of light to moderate rain in the 7-9 am hours, before dropping to a 50% through the 11 am hour, and then lightening up as the day progresses.

The rain chances will decrease throughout the day, falling to 30% at noon, and 20% by kickoff, which is set for 2:30 pm.

Temperatures will be on the cool side, with a Saturday early morning low in the upper 40's, before warming up to the lower-mid 50's by kickoff.

Appalachian St. is 5-1 on the season, including a 2-0 league mark, while Louisiana will enter at 3-3, and 1-1, respectively.
