Hopefully, Saturday will turn out to be a decent day for college football in the Orlando, Florida area, as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns take on the Tulane Green Wave in the AutoNation Cure Bowl, at Camping World Stadium.

This will mark the first-ever bowl game that the Cajuns will play outside of the state of Louisiana.

Louisiana, who missed out on bowl activity last year, will be appearing in their 6th bowl game in the last 8 years, having appeared in the New Orleans Bowl in 2011-2014, as well as 2016.

UL defeated Tulane in the 2013 New Orleans Bowl, 24-21.

Weather-wise, the rain that is forecasted in the Orlando area for Friday is expected to be gone, at least in the afternoon, leaving for a pretty nice bowl day.

The weather experts are calling for a good chance of rain in the morning, but clearing as the day progresses, with seasonal temperatures, as the two state rivals go at it.

Temperatures will be in the lower 50's in the morning, before warming up to the mid-60's during the afternoon.

It will be gusty, as the wind will be blowing from the west at 10-15 mph.

After a 60% chance of rain in the early morning hours, from 6 am-8 am, rain chances drop to only 30% at 9 am, and then down to 20% right around kickoff, which is scheduled for 12:30 (CDT), and stay there throughout the remainder of the day.

Louisiana is currently 7-6 on the season, while Tulane will enter at 6-6.

The two schools last met back in 2016, when Tulane captured a 41-39 overtime win in New Orleans.
