The Louisiana Ragin' Cajun men's basketball team will have another name on the roster for the 2018-2019 season.

Junior college guard guard Jeremy Hayes has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play for Louisiana, beginning with the 2018-19 season.

A native of Roseland, La., Hayes averaged 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a sophomore last season at Howard (Texas) College.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Hayes, who was listed as the No. 67 recruit by JucoRecruiting.com, was named first-team All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference, while also being tabbed a NJCAA Region 5 selection.

In his only season at Howard, Hayes started all 31 games, while shooting 42 percent from the field (148-for-347), 39 percent (50-for-128) from behind the 3-point line and 83 percent (151-for-183) from the free-throw line.
