Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team had their four-game win streak snapped on Friday afternoon, by falling to the Gonzaga Bulldogs, 6-1, in the opening day of play in the UTSA Classic, in San Antonio, Texas.

Gonzaga scored the first six runs of the game, and went on to the five-run victory.

The Bulldogs scored six runs on five hits, while the Cajuns were held to one run on four hits.

Marco Gonzales (2-0) picked up the win for Gonzaga, with Derek Peterson recording a save, while Jordan Nicholson suffered the loss for UL.

With the win, Gonzaga improved to 8-0 on the season, while Louisiana fell to 5-4.

The Cajuns will play the Kansas Jayhawks, on Saturday, at 2 o'clock.
