Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team won the rubber game of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series on Sunday in San Marcos, Texas, defeating the Texas St. Bobcats, 13-3.

The game was stopped after seven innings due to the mercy rule.

For Louisiana, the series win is the seventh of the season and fourth in conference play.

Louisiana outhit Texas St., 12-7, while scoring a run in the first inning, three in the fourth, six in the sixth, and three in the seventh, as they cruised to the 10-run win.

The Cajuns were led at the plate by Stefan Trosclair, who went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and four RBI's, increasing his hit streak in conference games to 12 in the process.

Kyle Clement and Dylan Butler also had two hits apiece, along with a homer each, as five Cajuns players had multiple hits efforts in the contest.

Wyatt Marks (4-0) recorded the win for Louisiana, striking out 11 batters in 5.1 innings, while Jeremy Hallonquist (4-1) suffered the loss for Texas St.

With the win, the Cajuns improved to 23-15, overall, and 10-7 in Sun Belt Conference play, while the Bobcats fell to 18-20-1, overall, and 10-8, respectively.

Louisiana returns to action on Tuesday night, when they host Nicholls St. in a non-conference tilt.
