Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is on the road for Sun Belt Conference action on Friday night, as coach Tony Robichaux's squad travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend series.

Louisiana is 21-26 overall, and 9-15 in Sun Belt Conference play, and still fighting to qualify for the Sun Belt Conference Postseason Tournament with only two weekends remaining, while Middle Tennessee currently stands at 26-23 overall, and 12-12 in league play.

Senior right-hander Jordan Nicholson (3-5, 4.29 era.) is expected to get the start for the Cajuns in the series opener, while the Blue Raiders are expected to counter with junior left-hander Jordan Cooper (1-2, 3.60 era.).

Game times for the series are 6 o'clock on Friday night, 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock for the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
