The seventh-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun baseball team returns to action on Wednesday night, playing host to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions in non-conference action at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Louisiana, who is coming off of a 3-1 week, including 4-1 win at top-ranked LSU in a rain- shortened contest last Tuesday, as well as taking two-of-three in a non-conference series against #21 Alabama over the weekend, is now 10-2 on the season, while Southeastern Louisiana, who dropped two-of-three against ULM over the weekend, will come in with an overall record of 7-4.

SLU is expected to start senior right-hander Sean Kennel, who is 1-1 on the season with a 3.86 ERA, while UL has yet to announce a starting pitcher.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 59-46, and has won the last two meetings.

First-pitch is scheduled for 6 o'clock.
