Jonathan Pace delivered a two-out, two-run double in the top half of the ninth inning, to lead the Southeastern Louisiana Lions to a 2-1 victory over Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, in non-conference action on Tuesday night, at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

Both of the runs were unearned, and in the two losses to Southeastern Louisiana this year, Louisiana has given up eight runs, with only one of them being earned.

UL has now lost seven-consecutive games, and nine straight to SLU, dating back to 2008.

Tanner Rainey (1-0) picked-up the win for the Lions, with Stefan Lopez recording his 11th save of the year, while freshman right-hander Austin Robichaux (0-4) was the hard-luck loser, allowing no earned runs, and only four hits, in eight-and-two-thirds innings.

With the victory Southeastern Louisiana improved to 21-9 on the year, while Louisiana dropped to 13-15.
