Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team captured a non-conference road win on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, 13-4, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The win avenges a 9-2 setback at the hands of Southern Miss on Friday night, and evens up the three-game, weekend, non-conference series at one game apiece.

The Cajuns scored 11 runs over the middle innings, including a six-run fifth inning, to help them cruise to the nine-run route.

That six-run fifth inning broke open a 4-3 contest, and helped nail down the win for Louisiana.

Ryan Leonards led the way for the Cajuns, offensively, going 3-for-4, with two runs scored, while Caleb Adams went 2-for-4, with three runs scored, and three RBI's, including his fourth home run of the season.
