One of the biggest wins in Garry Broadhead's first season as head coach was a double overtime win at the Cajundome over two time defending champion Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans.

Thursday night, the Trojans got their revenge, and clinched the Sun Belt Western Division in the process.

Despite a career high 25 points from freshman guard Keke Veal, UALR was able to defeat the Cajuns 48-41 at the Jack Stephens Center.

The Cajuns (9-19, 3-16 Sun Belt) couldn't contain Shannity James, who had eleven points and fifteen rebounds.

The Cajuns led 21-20 at halftime, but UALR (21-7, 13-6) despite shooting 33 percent for the game led by as many as ten in the second half.

The Cajuns close out the regular season Saturday at Louisiana-Monroe.
