Tulsa Golden Hurricane quarterback Kalen Henderson is in the process of transferring, and may be headed back to the state of Louisiana, and possibly on his way to play for the Nicholls St. Colonels.

Henderson, from Mount Airy, Louisiana, which is about 30 miles from the Nicholls St. campus, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, graduated from East St. John High School in 2009, before signing with Tulsa.

He redshirted in 2010, before playing sparingly in 2011, and 2012, throwing for 416 yards, with four touchdowns, and six interceptions.

If Henderson does transfer to Nicholls St., an FCS school, he would be able to play immediately, and would have two full years of eligibility remaining.
