Andrew Crane allowed just four hits over eight innings in defeating the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns for the second time this season as Troy broke open a tight game with three runs in the fifth inning en route to a 10-1 win Thursday night in the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament at  M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Crane (7-4), who defeated the Cajuns in a complete game effort back on March 23, was masterful against Louisiana (34-24) again, retiring 13 in a row during one stretch.

Hogan Harris (5-2) took the loss for the Cajuns, allowing six hits and four runs over five innings of work.  Harris walked three and struck out seven.  The left hander worked out of bases loaded jams on three different occasions before giving up three runs in the fifth inning.

Troy (40-18) was led by Sadler Goodwin, who drove in a pair of runs with a triple in the fifth inning and added a grand slam home run off reliever Brock Batty in the eighth.  Brandon Lockridge had three hits for the Trojans, while Rigsby Mosley scored three times.

Daniel Lahare had two of the four Cajun hits, increasing his hitting streak to 19 games.

The game started at 10:51pm and went 2:51 minutes, finishing up at 1:42 am Friday.

The Cajuns will now meet Texas State Friday at 6:30 pm in an elimination game, while Troy will await the winner Saturday at 12:30.
