Last Friday, new Towson University President Maravene Loeschke announced that the school was cutting the school's baseball and men's soccer programs, to help save the institution an estimated $900,000 per year.

The Tigers baseball team, which is being allowed to complete their 2013 season before disbanding, is protesting the move, by blacking out the "Towson" on the front of their uniforms.
